Yesterday, July 16, 2011, My older brother got married and it was a beautiful wedding and reception. The beauty radiated throughout the entire building, but something was missing. No one from my family was in the wedding! We were "missing" from the wedding party and we were only invited as guests. Through ritual and tradition, immediate family members are usually apart of fellow weddings--- things have changed. Yesterday, was the total opposite and I am happy that it was different. It all worked out perfectly, we were all able to have fun and party together enjoying the celebration without the restraints of the wedding guidelines. We danced the night away!
